Quality Blog Comments
:Room 6 has been learning how to make quality blog comments. First, we read comments on various blogs and discussed what makes quality blog comments. After that, we watched a video which explained the characteristics of quality blog comments. While watching the video, we used the app VideoNot.es to make our own notes. Here are Sarah's notes...
"commenting is a great way to tell the author of blogs how well they have done\commenting is fun and interesting\always try to be positive\don't put too many exclamation marks\always put a question at the end of your comment and dont forget the question mark\make a connection to what they have written\be careful with humour and make sure your comment is helpful\always reread your comments to make sure you did not make a mistake\be careful about what you post because it is where everybody can see it\whatever you post is permanent\ comments on blogs

ReplyDeleteMaking quality blog comments it a fantastic skill to learn and to keep on working on. It is all part of building your positive digital foot print. I wonder if you would like to start leaving blog comments on another class blogs? A class I work with at Papakura Central School are just like you, learning how to leave quality comments. I think it would be nice if you could give each other feedback. I will see you this week and we can talk about it some more.
